This oil-in-water sunscreen milk provides broad spectrum sun protection. HallBrite® BHB (Butyloctyl Salicylate) in HallBrite® EZ-FLO TDX contributes a very good dispersion for Titanium Dioxide. This formula was subjected to in vitro analysis which indicates SPF ~53, PFA (PPD) ~20 performance with critical wavelength 379 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | To the main vessel add liquids of phase A, start mixing and disperse the alkylate polymer with strong mixing for 20-30 minutes. |
2 | Heat this dispersion with gentle mixing to 55-60 °C, add phase B to it, and mix until dissolved. |
3 | To a secondary vessel add phase C, start mixing and heat to 55- 60°C. The add phase D and mix until uniform. |
4 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, add phase CD to phase AB. |
5 | Strongly mix, without aeration, phase ABCD for three minutes and then start to cool it. |
6 | When this batch is below 50°C add phase E with mixing, replace any water lost and mix until smooth. |
