This water-in-oil sunscreen delivers SPF 100 performance without using organic UV filters. It contains HallBrite® EZ-FLO TDX Plus, which contains two key ingredients for maximum photoprotection formulation impact:
- SolaStay® S1 (Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene) mitigates the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species-generating activities of the oxide
- HallBrite® BHB (Butyloctyl Salicylate) aids wetting and dispersion of the titanium dioxide and contributes to enhanced product feel
This formula was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~107, PFA (PPD) ~27, performance with critical wavelength 377nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | To the main Vessel, add phase A and start mixing, add phase B, and heat to 80°C. |
2 | Add phase C into AB, and mix well until uniform. |
3 | To a secondary vessel add liquids of phase D, start mixing, add Disodium EDTA, then add Xanthan Gum and heat this phase to 80°C. |
4 | When both phases are homogenous at their designated temperature, Start homogenizing phase ABC. |
5 | Very slowly add phase D to phase ABC. |
6 | Start to cool to room temperature. When less than 50°C, add phase E into phase ABCD. |
