ZnO-Only Sunscreen is a high-performance formula using zinc oxide as its only filter. The combination of HallBrite® BHB and SolaStay® S1 helps to optimize dispersion quality and prevent ROS generation. Natural emollient and structuring agents Olivem® VS Feel, Oliwax® LC and Biochemica® Shea Butter Organic help to greenify the package and add moisturizing benefits. The final product is non-whitening with a smooth, non-greasy skin-feel. In vitro testing demonstrates SPF 54 and PFA (PPD) 18, UVA1/UV = 0.82 and critical wavelength 376 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing. Add phase B with mixing. Heat to 80°C and then add phase C. |
2 | To the main vessel add premixture of phase D, start mixing and add phase E. Heat phase DE to 75 - 80°C with mixing. |
3 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase DE with prop mixing. |
4 | After 5 minute mixing, homogenize batch for 5 minutes, and then start cooling with central mixing. |
5 | when batch is < 50°C, add phase F with mixing |
6 | Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
