All-Purpose Intensive Serum

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1In the main vessel, prepare Phase A. Disperse Phase B using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Heat to 65-70°C.
2In a secondary vessel, prepare Phase C. Heat to 65°C and mix until all solids are dissolved.
3Add Phase C to Phase AB and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson).
4Cool to 40°C under gentle stirring.
5In a tertiary vessel, prepare Phase D. Heat to 35-40°C and mix until all solids are dissolved.
6Add Phase D to Phase ABC. Finish cooling the batch to room temperature under gentle stirring.
7A final homogenizing step using the Silverson may be needed.
8Adjust pH to proper range with 10% Citric Acid solution.
