PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | In the main vessel, prepare Phase A. Disperse Phase B using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Heat to 65-70°C. |
| 2 | In a secondary vessel, prepare Phase C. Heat to 65°C and mix until all solids are dissolved. |
| 3 | Add Phase C to Phase AB and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). |
| 4 | Cool to 40°C under gentle stirring. |
| 5 | In a tertiary vessel, prepare Phase D. Heat to 35-40°C and mix until all solids are dissolved. |
| 6 | Add Phase D to Phase ABC. Finish cooling the batch to room temperature under gentle stirring. |
| 7 | A final homogenizing step using the Silverson may be needed. |
| 8 | Adjust pH to proper range with 10% Citric Acid solution. |
