Olivem ® 1000
Olivem® 1000 is a white to ivory waxy flake solid. It is a PEG-free self-emulsifying multifunctional ingredient, HLB 8-9, that is COSMOS-validated. As the sole o/w emulsifier, Olivem® 1000 provides a deep moisturizing effect with excellent spreadability and no soapy effect. The typical use level for Olivem® 1000 is application dependent and between 1.5 and 4%.
Olivem® 300 is slightly yellow, water-soluble liquid functional lipid with sebum recovering activities. The recommended use level is application dependent and between 0.5 and 10%.
Olivem® 900 is a COSMOS-validated PEG-free co-emulsifier – an ivory waxy solid in flake form with melting range of 65 – 75°C designed for w/o and w/s systems. It improves the dispersion of the inorganic UV filters in sun care and powders in decorative formulations. The typical use level for Olivem® 900 is application dependent and from 1 to 10%.
Oliwax® is a white to ivory flaked material, melting range 60 – 70°C, derived from ultra-refined pure olive oil. When this COSMOS-compliant product is incorporated in emulsions for skin care, it offers outstanding moisturizing properties and a unique texture, even when used at low dosage levels (1 – 3%). Oliwax® added to hair care products contributes to both silkiness and overall manageability of the hair.
Oliwax ® LC
Oliwax® LC is a vegetal-derived liquid crystal promoter that is a waxy solid in flake form at 20°C, with melting range 50 – 60°C. It is designed to structure o/w systems and to improve the sun protection efficiency of formulations. It can be easily used either in emulsions (in water or oil phase) to which it provides a unique after-feel due to the high water content of the liquid crystalline structure. Oliwax® LC is COSMOS-validated and its typical use level is application dependent and is from 1 to 5%.
Sensolene® is a multifunctional, slightly yellow liquid lipid endowed with emollient properties that provide high levels of skin compatibility while providing elegant appearance and texture to formulations. It is physiologically compatible with the skin’s hydrolipidic film, mimicking one of its most important molecular components, Squalene. The typical use level is application dependent and from 1 to 10%.
Sensolene ® Care DD
Sensolene® Care DD is a highly functional ingredient with protective effect and excellent spreading properties. It is a soft yellow wax with low melting point, near to skin temperature, giving the product unique sensorial features. Sensolene® Care DD is COSMOS approved.
Eurol ® BT
This aqueous-based highly concentrated and multifunctional dark brown viscous liquid active ingredient is derived from olive plant leaves. A natural blend of diphenolic compounds, including oleuropein, it is able to perform functions such as antiaging, anti-irritating, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, skin elasticizing, antimicrobial, anti-acne and skin lightening. It is COSMOS-validated and effective at low dosage. The typical use level is application dependent and from 0.1 to 0.5%.
Eurol® WHT is a COSMOS-compliant product consisting of Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract and Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract in Glycerin and Water. It is a 100% natural ingredient obtained through a cold extractive process that is able to preserve its unaltered anti-oxidant and anti-tyrosinase phytocomplex. Eurol® WHT, thanks to the multifunctional beneficial activities performed by the olive tree leaves extract, takes care of the skin while brightening it. In particular, Eurol® WHT possesses the ability to avoid undesired skin irritation, a collateral effect of skin bleaching ingredients.
HallBrite® BHB is a novel, multifunctional ingredient and dispersing agent with excellent wetting property. The low viscosity fluid with elegant slip and feel is suitable for use as a primary or secondary solvent and emollient in sunscreens, creams, lotions and topical preparations for skin and hair.
SolaStay® S1 is the unique, highly efficient, singlet state quencher for Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (BMDBM; Avobenzone) and Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (OMC; Octinoxate). At a typical use level that matches the percentage by weight of Avobenzone in the formulation (typically 2-3%), it can markedly improve Avobenzone photostability, thereby allowing new heights in broad spectrum UVA and UVB photoprotection. Used at 1-3% with mineral UV filters and/or cosmetic colorants, it mitigates the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species-generating activities of these oxides. To photostabilize photolabile anti-aging ingredients such as Cholecalciferol, Resveratrol, Retinol, Retinyl Palmitate and Ubiquinone in skin care products, 3 – 5% SolaStay® S1 is recommended.
Polycrylene® is a low molecular weight copolymer of Adipic Acid and Neopentyl Glycol that is terminated with Cyanodiphenyl Propenoic Acid. It finds application in sun protection formulations that contain Avobenzone, providing photostabilization to improve both SPF and PFA. It may also improve the sunscreen’s resistance to wash-off.
SolaStay® P1 permits formulators to combine active ingredients once considered too photo-unstable to be effective. SolaStay® P1’s singlet state quenching makes for faster, more powerful photostabilization of sunscreens. It effectively photostabilizes Avobenzone and, as a polymer, it may also enhance the water resistance of products in which it is incorporated. Typical use level 1 – 5%.
HallBrite® PSF is an organomodified silicone made by grafting a cyano diphenyl acrylate moiety onto a polysiloxane backbone. The resulting somewhat viscous fluid improves the feel and spreadability of sunscreen formulations.

Biochemica® Cocoa Butter Deo is extracted from the seed kernels of the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao, and is further refined and deodorized to yield a tan colored butter with very light odor. It may be used to reduce cutaneous dryness and improve skin elasticity without imparting the strong odor associated with unrefined cocoa butter.
Florasolvs® Jojoba-120 is an ethoxylated jojoba ester which provides water-soluble jojoba emolliency for cosmetic formulations. It may also be utilzed for clarity and payout enhancement in stick products and fragrance oil solubilization in aqueous solutions. Primary application areas to date have included prestige face, neck and eye area products and a wide variety of shampoos.

It is made hydrophobic through surface treatment with Dimethicone. HallStar® 653 is a solid waxy ester made from the reaction of cetyl alcohol with palmitic acid. It is an emollient and emollient thickener in emulsions, a base or stiffener for stick products and a substitute for spermaceti wax.

HALLSTAR® GMS PURE
HallStar® GMS Pure is the esterification product of vegetable-derived, high-purity triple-pressed stearic acid with glycerin. It is one of the most broadly utilized ingredients for personal care products. HallStar® GMS Pure is typically used as the primary emulsifier, in conjunction with a variety of auxiliary emulsifiers. The typical use level is 2 – 5% in creams and lotions.
HALLSTAR® GMS SE
HallStar® GMS SE is the reaction product of Glycerin and triple-pressed grade Stearic Acid combined with a defined amount of Potassium Stearate to enhance self-emulsification in aqueous systems. It is used as the primary emulsifier in oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions at pHs in the range of 5 – 9.

HallStar® IPP-NF is an economical soft, light ester made from the reaction of Palmitic Acid and Isopropyl Alcohol, and conforms to the requirements of the National Formulary monograph for Isopropyl Palmitate. RTD ALPHA-BISABOLOL NATURAL
RTD Alpha-Bisabolol Natural a naturally-derived, optically active, viscous colorless to somewhat yellow liquid with slight floral wood odor. Bisabolol has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties as well as antimycotic and antibacterial effects, and so is suitable for various skin care applications. Alpha-Bisabolol Natural used at low levels (0.1 – 1.0%) is active, safe, and skin compatible.
RTD HC-40 is a high HLB (~13) surfactant produced through the ethoxylation of hydrogenated Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil. It is widely utilized as a solubilizer, emulsifier and skin conditioning agent. As a nonionic emulsifier and solubilizer, it is compatible with nonionic, cationic and anionic surfactants and is effective even in systems that are relatively salty, acidic or alkaline. RTD HC-40 is an excellent solubilizer for perfume oils and may also be used as a co-emulsifier in the formulation of creams and lotions.
RTD HCO-60 is a high HLB surfactant (~16) produced through the ethoxylation of hydrogenated Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil. It is a solubilizer for essential oils and perfume oils and may be used as a co-emulsifier in the formulation of creams and lotions. It is utilized as a solubilizer, emulsifier and skin conditioning agent.
RTD IS-20 is a high HLB (~14) nonionic surfactant produced through the ethoxylation of Isostearyl Alcohol. It is a soft whitish paste that is used to solubilize fragrances, essential oils, and other hydrophobic compounds in aqueous systems. Used in aerosol products, it generates foam in conjunction with the propellant. With other surfactants, it also acts as a co-emulsifier.
SODIUM STEARATE OP-100 V
Sodium Stearate OP-100 V is a vegetable-derived Sodium Stearate consisting primarily of the sodium salts of saturated C16 & C18 fatty acids. This fine white powder is used as a gelling agent in deodorant sticks, a component of bar soaps and a co-emulsifier. Hasten solution by adding to hot water (>80°C).
SODIUM STEARATE OP-200V
Sodium Stearate OP-200V is a vegetable-based Sodium Stearate consisting primarily of the sodium salts of saturated C16 and C18 fatty acids, but also including a defined proportion of C20 and C22 fatty acids to increase the melt point and decrease the payout of hydroglycolic sticks made with it. Its primary use is as a gelling agent for deodorant and fragrance sticks. It may also be used in bar and liquid soaps, and in creams and lotions as an emulsion stabilizer.
Spectrasolv® DMDA (Dimethyl Capramide) is multifunctional amide. Its sunscreen active solvency is vastly superior to traditional esters such as C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, and its high polarity may have a positive impact on Avobenzone in broad-spectrum sunscreens.
