The multi-functional Olivem® 2020 emulsifier is the only emulsifier necessary to stabilize this o/w high SPF sunscreen emulsion. It contains a very high (>35%) oil phase loading yet, because of the presence of Olivem® 2020, yields a light and non-greasy cream that applies to wet skin without whitening. HallBrite® BHB, SolaStay® S1, and SolaFresh™ combine to enhance sunscreen solvency and efficiency. SolaPure™ Glo is a COSMOS approved mixture of natural components which enhance SPF, serve as anti-inflammatory antioxidants and, along with HallBrite® BHB, enhance emolliency. Through the use of proprietary actives technology, this formulation also delivers an added level of protection from the sun with the YOUTH Oléobooster® helping to delay skin aging and protecting skin from daily external aggressions (UV rays, pollution, stress…). In vitro testing suggests SPF ~55, PFA (PPD) ~24, UVA1/UV = 0.84, and critical wavelength = 377 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing. Add phase B and heat to 55°C. Turned the heat off when uniform. |
| 2 | To the main vessel add premixture of phase C and add phase D, start mixing until a smooth gel is formed. |
| 3 | When both phases are homogeneous slowly add phase AB to phase CD with prop mixing. |
| 4 | When the emulsion is fully formed (white and thickened; 20 minutes or longer, as necessary), continue mixing until the batch is smooth. |
| 5 | Add phase E and mix until uniform. |
