In the very simple formulation base, Micah® protects against reactive oxygen species (ROS) and other free radicals in UVA-I region (340-400 nm) and extends this protection into the visible spectrum (> 400 nm), a potential source for significant ROS generation, providing broader spectrum free radical prevention. HallTress® DIBA Special is a good solvent for dissolving Micah®, Olivem® 1000 is a PEG-free self-emulsifying multifunctional ingredient for this stable system.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | Add premixture of phase A into a main vessel, then add phase B with mixing and heat up to 75-80°C. |
| 2 | Add phase C into phase AB, and mix until uniform. |
| 3 | Combine phase D in a secondary vessel and heat it up to 75-80°C with mixing until a clear solution. |
| 4 | Add phase D into phase ABC with mixing until uniform. |
| 5 | Cool down to room temperature. When < 50°C, add phase E with mixing until uniform. |
| 6 | Add water to make up water lost and mix until uniform. |
