Velvety Hydration Gel Crème

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1Charge DI Water into main beaker. Begin moderate agitation and heating to 50C.
2Add in Disodium EDTA and Butylene Glycol one by one with mixing.
3Sprinkle in Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, and continue to mix and maintain temperature. Continue to mix until Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is fully hydrated, and no visible particles are remaining.
4Add in Panthenol and Allantoin one by one, ensuring they are fully solubilized before continuing.
5Sprinkle in Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, and adjust mixing speed to accommodate increase in viscosity.
6Add in HallSens DIAS, and continue to mix well for 30 minutes. Begin cooling the batch to 30C
7Add in preservative and ensure adequate mixing.
8Add Sodium Hydroxide solution with paddle mixing to neutralize Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer slurry. Batch will thicken slightly.
9Begin to cool to room temperature with slow mixing.
