PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | Prepare Phase A in the main vessel. Disperse Phase B using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Heat to 80-85°C. |
| 2 | Add Olivem® 1000 flakes directly into Phase AB under homogenization maintaining the proper temperature. |
| 3 | In a secondary vessel, prepare Phase D. Heat to 75-80°C and mix until all solids are dissolved. |
| 4 | Add Phase D to Phase ABC under homogenization. |
| 5 | Cool batch to room temperature under gentle stirring. An additional homogenization step using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson) may be required. |
