Zinc Pyrithione-Based Antidandruff Shampoo

Formula Number: JZ1-291A2S

Request a physical prototype of this formulation

This antidandruff shampoo formulation uses particulate zinc pyrithione as its active ingredient, and HallStar® SAB-2N Flake to maintain the active ingredient in dispersed form. HallStar® SAB-2N Flake also contributes opacity as well as desirable rheological properties to the finished product. By using sodium coco-sulfate (HallStar® SCS) rather than sodium lauryl sulfate, formulations will typically have denser and creamier foam and may be translucent rather than clear. Foam quantity may be adjusted by modifying the level of HallStar® SCS.
