This formulation was designed to provide SPF 30 performance in a soothing, lightly-tinted lip balm. It is water-resistant, preservative-free, and can be customized in natural butters and oils. The combination of Biochemica® Olive Butter combines with Biochemica® Lemon Butter softens, moisturizes and rejuvenates skin, and adds a pleasant fragrance. In vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~33, PFA (PPD) ~12 performance with critical wavelength 376nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | In the main vessel, combine and mix phase A items and heat to 80 - 85°C with mixing. |
| 2 | Very slowly add pre-grounded and pre-mixed phase B to phase A with mixing to make sure all pigments are dispersed uniformly. |
| 3 | Add phase C with mixing and mix until uniform. |
| 4 | Remove airs before filling into tubes. |
