COVID-19 and Supply Chain Update

We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation to mitigate its impact on our international locations. We are in daily contact with our Brazilian, Chinese, French, Italian, and North American employees in their respective locations and can happily report that colleagues in quarantined locations are all well. Whether working in their offices or from home, they have been able to manage their responsibilities steadily.

The Hallstar Beauty Team has purposefully designed and implemented a robust and resilient supply chain with the ability to ship the same product from multiple locations. We’ve experienced very minimal delays in getting the right product to the right customer at the right time. Even with the restrictions currently being enforced in Italy, the Coronavirus has caused zero delays in our European supply chains. Material is being shipped on time and we have robust contingency plans for any location if it needs to be temporarily shut down in the future. Importantly, our inventory positions are strong, and we encourage our customers to maintain their normal ordering patterns to avoid creating a bullwhip effect in our respective supply chains.

If any significant impact is expected or unavoidable delays arise, we will be in touch with you. We are hopeful for a resolution to this situation but are prepared to operate indefinitely until the virus has been contained.
