This multifunctional stick formulation is designed to provide label SPF 30 performance. SolaStay® S1 provides photostabilization for avobenzone. HallBrite® BHB enhances the non-greasy, lightweight product feel. A combination of Sensolene® Light ET, HallStar® Octyl Isononanoate, HallStar® IPM-NF, and Halltress® DIBA Special provides the right polarity to form a transparent stick. The formulation’s rosy hue is created by BLUSH Oléoactif® which also provides complexion benefits: redness reduction and skin barrier protection. Colipa Guideline (2011) delivered SPF ~35, PFA (PPD) ~11, UVA1/UV = 0.75, and critical wavelength = 374 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | Add Phase A to the main vessel, start center-stir (prop) mixing and heat to 90°C. |
| 2 | Add Phase B to Phase A and mix until uniform and clear to make sure phase B is totally dissolved. |
| 3 | Start cooling with mixing until 70°C. Stop mix and filling into containers. |
